I have been incredibly lucky to have such great support in my life – from my family and friends, from many incredibly helpful, gracious, and non-territorial local holistic health care professionals, and from my dedicated patients.

In particular, I give many thanks to my father, John M. Simon D.V.M., for your unyielding persistence and abundance of unsolicited teaching, advice and resources; and to my mother for your confidence in me, always there to help out at the drop of a hat, and for being that voice in the back of my head that reminds me to not blindly follow.

I also thank my husband for supporting me on my path, questioning me, reminding me to think critically, trusting me although he may often disagree.  A special thank you to my children who have been my guides, guinea pigs, and taste testers.

Thanks to Dr. Rick Ng for being a mentor and answering my many questions along the way, and The Center for Holistic Medicine for providing me a wonderful, supportive location to begin my new practice and to continue my learning.

Thanks also to Dr. Susan McCreadie for preceding me in holistic pediatrics in Michigan, for being so gracious in helping her potential competition, and for having such an informative and useful website.

Thank you to my uncle, James Stegman, who provided me much appreciated legal advice and preparation of legal documents. Thanks to Robbie Simon, my younger brother, for helping to open my mind to energy healing and for helping Charlie to get better.

Thanks to Sara Kravitz for guiding me in business and for ensuring that I am really saying what I want to say, to Steven Jacobs for my logo, and to Daniel Klein, PsyD for his excellent care of many of my patients with psychological issues.  I also want to thank my friends and colleagues on the Birmingham Public School wellness committees, the committed hard working staff of Southfield Pediatrics, and my many dedicated patients, family and friends who have trusted me, inspired me and guided me.
